Overband Magnet:
Permanent Magnet Overhead type Magnetic Separators are designed to be
suspended over conveyor. Belts vibratory feeders or inclined delivery
chutes. This type of system arrests ferromagnetic materials from
distance of 300mm / 12" from feed material which si transported through
the production process. These are generally used in cement industries,
ceramic industries, salt processing industries, coal handling plants,
sugar industries etc. They are designed and manufactured after
considering technical date like Burden Depth. Conveyor Belt Speed. Size
of the Belt, Contaminations sizes, Material flow rate etc.
Overband Permanent Magnets are also available with Self cleaning type
with drive systems where ferromagnetic material collected / deposited
is carried by this cross rotating belt and collected in separate bin.
